One of the main features that make shoes from spring-summer collection produced under the Fairma Ethical Design brand so comfortable is a special onSteam® microfiber used for the lining. It is very similar in touch and appearance to leather, but outcompetes it in many ways.
It has much better resistance to abrasion and a higher moisture absorption capacity. onSteam® provides maximum comfort, absolute dryness and the thermoregulation effect. Sweat does not accumulate inside shoes, because the material lets it out and it evaporates, so that feet stay dry all the time.

The results of independent laboratory tests confirmed the technical properties of the fabric in the most demanding conditions, ensuring compliance with quality standards. Thanks to this it can be used along the entire length of the shoe, without the need for additional strengthening in the heel part.

The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certificate guarantees that the onSteam® microfiber is eco-friendly and completely free of harmful factors (it does not contain any harmful chemical substances, e.g. chromium VI used for leather tanning). Its constant thickness (0.8 mm) and regular width (140 cm) allow multilayer cutting, making the material more eco-friendly and much more efficient in production than leather. In addition, it is antibacterial, 100% breathable, and its production process does not leave any harmful waste.
