Fairma Ethical Design celebrates another birthday, and with the anniversary comes time for reflection and considering new directions of action. If you read to the end, you will find out what revolutionary changes await our store.
Fairma Ethical Design was established in 2016 out of our own need to live and buy responsibly. The business began in April 8 years ago by opening a small store on Dajwór Street in Krakow, which offered high-class products made with respect for workers' rights, animal rights and the environment. At the time, it was quite a revolutionary and bold undertaking. What have we achieved over these 8 years?
Gaining numerous followers on social media and recognition in the industry press, such as, among others, Marie Claire, Cities of Women or Into Passion, we managed to speak more loudly about responsible fashion. We also participated in many fashion fairs and industry events, including Fashion Revolution Week and Łódź Fashion Week.
Fairma moved from the role of a distributor of ethical products to a manufacturer, expanding its range with new models of shoes and accessories (e.g. handbags, backpacks, wallets). We have introduced our own line of products made of ecological materials, e.g. Piñatex, microfiber with the Oeko-Tex Standard certificate. When creating the collection and production, we cooperated with small, family-owned production factories in Poland.
Over these few years, we have won awards and certificates such as PETA Approved Vegan and Fur Free, and we have expanded our operations on foreign markets such as France, Germany and Austria. Our shoes could be purchased in these countries both in stationary stores and online.
Since the beginning of its operations, Fairma has donated part of its income, exactly 10% of the margin, to charity. We have cooperated with numerous organizations fighting for animal rights (including PETA, Fundacja Viva!, Otwarte Klatki) and have conducted educational campaigns on ethics in fashion. In addition, our brand actively built a community by participating in meetings and workshops for customers, maintaining a blog and newsletter, and dialogue with customers.

You appreciate our customer service and a very individual approach to each request and inquiry. There are many regular, loyal customers among you, waiting for new collections and innovations in the offered assortment.
Nevertheless, after 8 years we feel that it is time for a change. Running a business involves many difficult challenges, and Magda, the founder of Fairma Ethical Design, currently wants to focus on her family and other professional challenges.
