Why can large chain brands afford much lower prices? In this article, we will present several key aspects related to the ethical production of shoes and accessories.
The lower price of a product often conceals a number of practices that not only cause the products to lose quality, but also the production process leaves many question marks and is not entirely fair. And ethically made products put fair labor practices, social responsibility and environmental sustainability first.
For us, ethically made products are those that are created as part of fair cooperation, i.e. those where factories ensure fair treatment of employees involved in the production process. This includes ensuring safe working conditions, fair wages, reasonable working hours and the prohibition of child labor and all forms of exploitation.
Supply chain transparency is important to us. In our opinion, an ethical brand is one that strives to have transparent supply chains. Which means we know information about procurement and production processes. We work directly with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure ethical standards are met throughout the supply chain.
Ethical shoes are those made with a minimal impact on the environment. We do not use any materials or products of animal origin in our products. Our shoes and accesories are vegan. This is in line with our sensitive approach to animal welfare and reduces the negative environmental impact of animal farming. Our ethical production is verified and reliable, i.e. supported by certificates (including PETA approved VEGAN or FUR FREE RETAILER) and transparent information provided by our brand.
Social influence is an important factor in the functioning of the Fairma Ethical Design brand. That is why we also engage in social initiatives, support local communities, and cooperate with non-governmental organizations, including charities. Additionally, we donate 10% of profits to social causes.
