In October, Animal Awareness Month or simply Animal Month is celebrated in various places around the world. This is an opportunity to raise awareness of animal protection and rights issues and promote their ethical treatment.
It is also an opportunity to educate about the ethical treatment of animals, caring for their well-being and combating cruelty towards them. It is also a time to promote veganism and alternative ways of life that respect animal rights and the natural environment. This month dedicated to animals culminates on November 1 and World Vegan Day. In Poland, due to another culturally important holiday, it is not celebrated and is celebrated on Vegetarian Day, which falls on October 1.
Below we present our subjectively selected recommendations for aid actions and actions supporting the improvement of the fate of animals.
