We are pleased to present two more guides by Kupuj Odpowiedzialnie Foundation, regarding different types of textiles and their certification:
1. Read „Bamboo, tencel, cotton or polyester – which materials should your clothes be made of?” HERE
Are the materials in your clothes environmentally friendly? Were human rights respected in their production? What are the advantages and disadvantages of various materials, including cotton, flax, bamboo fiber or lyocell? Why the production of textiles is such a threat to the environment? Find answers to these and many other questions HERE.
2. Read ”Signs, labels, certificates - how to be sure if clothes are really eco and fair?" HERE
This guide contains information on the most important and most reliable certificates used in the Polish fashion industry. Check what criteria must be met for clothes to receive various certificates and which companies have their products certified.
Unfortunately, the materials are available only in the Polish versions for now. If anything changes we’ll keep you updated ;) Meanwhile, we highly recommend you to visit the Kupuj Odpowiedzialnie foundation’s website where you can find lots of information and advice on sustainable living.
