Since the beginning of our company, it has been important for us to share with those in need. Since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, we have tried to support humanitarian activities directed to our close neighbors as much as possible.
In March, we donated to the Polish Medical Mission, which deals with the health of people fleeing the war. We also supported the Szafa Dobra initiative (run by the Internationaler Bund Polska foundation from Krakow), where we donated our new shoes. We also helped as volunteers in sorting and distributing clothes. We also prepared several packages with used clothes in very good condition, which we took to the wardrobe.
We do not stop there and in October we donated another dozen pairs of our winter shoes and sneakers to children and youth in Ukraine. We donated the shoes to the KidSave organization, which organized adoptions in Ukraine before the outbreak of the war. Currently, the organization takes care of about 150 children in adoptive families. These families decided to stay in Ukraine for various reasons. Now KidSave helps these families by delivering warm clothes and power generators to places where hostilities are currently taking place.
We know that this is just a drop in the ocean of needs. We contact organizations before donating. We want to know the history of our activity and find out what are the most urgent needs, how we can get involved in helping to make it effective. We want to continue to share good in accordance with our mission.
