We are not indifferent to the war in Ukraine. Fairma Ethical Design supports those fleeing war, it also helps non-governmental organizations that provide direct assistance.
More than a week ago, at the same time, we lived in a completely different world. Today, frankly speaking, it's hard for us to focus on anything. We are not indifferent to the war in Ukraine.
The last few days have been very intense. We joined the local aid in Krakow dedicated to those fleeing the war. We worked as volunteers in collecting the most necessary things for people coming to our city. We also made gifts in kind as private individuals.
We want to tell you about a unique place which is Good Wardrobe (Szafa Dobra) in Krakow. In the former PLAZA gallery, at al. Pokoju 44, a space where refugees from Ukraine can pick up clothes and shoes free of charge has been open for over a week. Krakow's non-governmental organizations, companies, institutions and a large group of volunteers joined forces to organize this extraordinary "shop".
We know from the organizers of this place that the needs are huge, especially for undamaged, comfortable things. Last week we brought several dozen pairs of new shoes and a few boxes with clothes.
In addition, we financially supported the Polish Medical Mission, which works for refugees from the conflict-affected Ukraine. Provides medical support where the needs are greatest. The activities of PMM are based on the work of volunteers: doctors, paramedics, nurses, rehabilitators, as well as psychologists and medical analysts. PMM is one of the few Polish non-governmental organizations that provide medical assistance. Since 1999, the Polish Medical Mission Association has been helping victims of wars, catastrophes and natural disasters.
We also know that aid activities are not a sprint but a marathon. There will still be needs. We are ready to answer them.
